A storm has brewed (Rondeau)

by Michael   Jun 11, 2018

... it rained today, and yesterday
my bluey sky, growls black and grey.
The rock I built with sweat and scrim
erodes with haste from outside in
..and all inside has washed away

The eyeing storm comes more to slay
and leaves me slumped upon the clay.
A textured place, somewhat akin
....it rained today..

..like yesterday, it rained all day
Its hard to keep the storm at bay.
So while my soul is damp within
I’ll brace the weathers darkly spin
and hope to feel a sunshine ray
......it rained today

Michael this is brilliant. So dark and moody, each word suits the theme perfectly and the Rondeau has been perfectly executed. Bravo! :-) x
