Promises mean nothing when they're consistently broken,
Like disgruntled waves crashing in the ocean.

Look in my tear filled big blue eyes,
Telling your practiced lies.

As if I were stupid or naive,
All you negative pretenses brought me to my knees.

Crying for God to listen to me,
Hear me God almighty and let me see.

Shine down your heavily light,
With all your might...give me the strength to fight for my life.

Never happened, so here I am,
One of the damned.

Broken and bruised...coming unglued,
Asking "I am NOBODY, who are you?"
