Like a squeezed lemon

by Dagmar Wilson   Jun 20, 2018

Tearing up paper, playing with paint
that I must do when dealing with certain feelings.

Emotions be flying through
can't put them on pause or anything else,
they are here to stay.

I am engaged in freedom
despise the unjustified,
I am bleeding for those who suffer
rebelling against hell.

At times I sure feel like a lemon
squeezed hard,
I am running out of fuel.

Nice work Dag, I love squeezing lemons hard, a tablespoon of them, and one of a good extra virgin olive oil is reported to cleanse the liver of toxins.
Very true, how life can squeeze many emotions from us, are we truly free? Set free, is true freedom, and it exists inwardly, despite what happens outwardly!

    Nominated!
