Hero

by silvershoes   Jun 22, 2018

I feel safe with him,
usually.

Not like he’ll protect me,
but he’ll stay there when others would be terrified.

Maybe he won’t rescue me;
He won’t save me from myself,
but he’s strong enough to not let me break us.

    Love this! That's the man for a strong woman.

    Lovely write silvershoes, spare, muscular and pithy is how I would describe it.

      "Spare, muscular and pithy" <- I think the same of your comment. Thank you, Megan. In few words, you captured it.
