Homecoming

by Megan Chapman   Jun 26, 2018

I thought I was there for them
I so much wanted to be there for them,

But I wasn’t even there for myself.

Until I found my way to myself,
until I had my own homecoming,
I thought I could do it for them.

Now I am home,
I know they must do it for themselves.
Home each soul’s here and now,
and homecoming
an individual journey.

Megan, so true. We can't help another until we've come full circle into ourselves. Well done-
