The sky is burning
trees are holding strong
leaves are on fire,
the roots are still intact.

Dagmar, so much in these few lines. Well done- so true too.

People talk about foundations. They talk about how important they are. The deeper they go, the stronger and more resilient the building will be.

This poem made me think about remembering our core beliefs; our source of strength. When the fire rages, our hearts smother the flames with reviving waters. No fire will burn roots made so strong.
