Soul

by Megan Chapman   Jun 28, 2018

Unseen eternal radiance of purity,
Illuminating goodness, beauty and truth in all.
Light that’s ever present and
Indomitable,
even deep within all the darknesses of the human condition.
No matter that these darknesses obscure it
so that they seem so much more real than its light.

Too long soul remains unknown, unrecognised, unexplored.

Unlike the body,
that soul’s reflection which is universally known, recognised and explored
and, in that knowing, mistaken as the all of Life.

Soul, Consciousness, the Isness of Being,
Is the very Life element Itself
Is my very life,
The eternal isness of
I am

Many thanks Ben. I'm sharing a few I have been sitting on actually. Some have been shared in my private writing group, but the emphasis there is not on poetry. Hence my delight to come across this website on which to share them. :)
      All the best to you!
