YOU CAN CALL ME RAY

YOU CAN CALL ME RAY

Yes, and upon you all, I do shine. I can make your day, or I can hide, causing you to pine away. Not crazy about those dark sinister clouds that the man upstairs sends my way. I must admit, the lullaby of the softly falling rain, is not a pain, and you can find a rainbow down in the glen, just around the bend.

Ok Jose’, now you know that I’m the Sun, I also like to have fun. Hey, you young one’s, yet to learn, I love to lick your cute little cheeks, it won’t be long until your Mum hears those painful eeks! Some try to face me down, ok you clowns, I’ll teach you a lesson all about third degree burns.

I can be nice, and you won’t have to pay a price, coconut, and oil you may adore, but I’ll lap it up and ask for more. Only the UV stuff will make me cry; enough! My rays may be harnessed and tamed, how do you think “Solar” got its name?

Need a big thrill, go up to the mountain top, just past the old mill, don’t stop at the Still. Look for my sunset in the West, bring your special other, and your Pet. I will move my hand across the sky, kiss the birds’ goodnight, I’ll wash the clouds from white to pink, then pour on deep colors like red ink. My dying glow like a furnace you will see, I will glorify my Creator, the God of me.
