I am not sure if 'would' is better in the second sentence, than 'could', or if it would make sense to change the whole thing to, 'I think it should be you'. The latter turns it into one long and dumb chat up line, so quicker to reject that, except for exaggerating the [intended] bathetic fall of from the 'sublime' title. But I shall leave it in original form.
