Shame

It's easy to wound when your pain is on show
Defend with revenge and hurt with what you know
Seek out the weakness and make the remarks
The bite is quite harmless compared to the bark

The secrets you learned - ammunition for sure
Fair game in the battle between love and war
But remember - when you try to throw shame at me
In the mirror you're going to despise what you see.
