Different rules

by Yakari Gabriel   Jul 17, 2018

I have learned
that a man can go home to his ego
every night and still sleep well

Only,
because the world won’t question him
won’t ask who it was that left him
won’t deem him bitter or unlovable
won’t mark him invisible due to his age

when a man tells you to leave
to walk from love without a fight
he is speaking from privilege
not knowing, the world won’t forgive you

Very Sad and heartfelt the pain of rejection
I must add men feel it too
    Pain has no discrimination
