Seven Hundred and Thirty Days

by Baby Rainbow   Jul 17, 2018

Another two years older,
another million miles apart.

I wanted to believe all the things you said so perfectly,
like the way you loved me more than the world,
or when you said I had nothing to worry or fear,
because you would love me forever and for always -
no matter what.

Tears run down my face,
as your shadow is slowly disappearing
with the memories we made.

I never saw this pain coming,
never thought that one day
you would hurt me this way.

Another two years older,
another seven hundred and thirty days
of feeling lonely and betrayed.
