If you were dragged backwards
through a storm you would
still come sunny-side up

if you were dragged backwards
through a snowdrift you
would still be hot

if you were dragged backwards
through a BBQ, your hair
would still be in a bun

if you were dragged backwards
through an oil-spill you
would still be slick

if you were dragged backwards
through a hedge your grass
would be greener

..and finally,

if you were dragged backwards
through a mid-life crisis you
wouldn’t look a day older
