July Rain (acrostic)

by Meena Krish   Jul 23, 2018

Just when I thought
Under all these smiles are lies
Lightening strikes a moment of
You and me...a memory caught,

Restless wind cries then dies
Allowing these evenings an escape, an
Invitation of fusion and knots
Never to step into the arms of reality....

Heart gripping acrostic by Meena this week. I truly love the acrostic form and Meena captured the message beautifully, with a very pretty flow while reading. The message is relate-able to many different sorrowful moments that the reader might be experiencing and that is what is so powerful with this poem.. Meena's heartfelt memory is captivating for the reader. Just beautiful.

A beautiful poem Meena, never is a long long time, such longing in this write. Sometimes reality is altered when two meet in dreams. When the longings are shared the distance is narrowed. You write so beautiful.
