The Judge

by Maple Tree   Jul 24, 2018

I dont need you to analyze
the phases of my dying child
like the phases of the moon.

Her twinkle is dimming
like a fallen star, please
try to catch her;
rather than watch her fall.

If you choose to judge the addict
please judge yourself as well,
but dont you ever tell me
its a blessing.

I will never accept this loss...
she's dying slowly and you choose
to be critical, please drop the addict
and comfort the human being
who I call my child.

Powerful piece. There is still so much judgment and I cannot imagine the hurt of having to hear that, and deal with those who think they have the right to comment about someone, when you are the mother and she is your beautiful daughter.

    Hugs, always <3

Heart Breaking... People can be so cruel. Nothing is ever as bad as a Mother losing a child and a slow death is worse than anything. The people who are that cruel are twisted and have no compassion or soul and just don't understand what real love is all about. A heart wrenching piece. Sending you both warm hugs and best wishes. This is awful for people to say. This is your child and how can anybody be so cruel. People are quick to judge and little do they know. I keep you in my prayers
