Daydreaming of You

by Walter   Jul 25, 2018

She sits down in the corner
As silent as a breeze
My surroundings are forgotten
In this moment she seems to seize

Distracted by her beauty
My eyes can only stare
The room now filled with warmth
When once it felt so bare

And I can't help but watch her
She has me in a trance
Feels like time together
Is not one just by chance

And while she sips her coffee
It's now that our eyes meet
The way she smiles across the room
My heart will skip a beat

I snap out of this daydream
Which you sent my mind to roam
Taking note of my surroundings
I know that I am home

And you this perfect stranger
Who just walked into my life
I'm so relieved when I realize
It's you my gorgeous wife

Its always wonderful when true love comes into someone's life. Its all consuming in the loveliest way. A great piece that really captures the emotion and portrays true love very well. Milly x
