A tower of strength (Haiku's for Maple tree)

by Michael   Jul 25, 2018

many leaves have shed
summer can’t dry weepy eyes
boughs weigh heavily

weathering the storm
alone in the dark forest
this tree holds a nest

a roost held so close
cradled with fragile branches
waiting to blossom

    Michael,

    *tissue please*

Each time I log on this site as of late, I nestle down to read and escape my pain... and each time a dear friend writes something to help take the sting away just for a little bit....

thank you dear friend, I needed this- hugs you
