Is This It?

by silvershoes   Aug 3, 2018

Floating in infinite black
Stars are stars
White light sprays from pinholes in the night sky
When I press my fingers, they explode
In a white dress, billows slowly
Gravity is less
How alone we all are
Legs bent, elbows propel my hands above my head
Reaching for something
Hair streams like an amber scarf in the wind
Time is nothing
Time is everything
Time might be all we have
I confess I was dreaming of more than this

Somehow, reading this dreamscape, reminded me of an unborn baby imagining its past, present and future.

    I loved this. :O)

My heart aches reading this and thinking of all we have now, all we have lost and the infinite ways our lives may have separated onto different paths. Simple wording but beyond profound. Especially when contemplating our existence, impact and what we truly want out of this life... if we can ever know or if it is too grand of an idea.
