Solemn Cry

SOLEMN CRY

As the lightning strikes the ground,
you awe in fear just by its sound.
As you close your eyes and cover your ears,
you were thrilled in tremendous fear..

The pouring rain makes you lose your sane,
as it hit the roof it reminisce the pain.
The sound of yesterday that resonance,
imprisoned you in the past romance..

Into the alley you used to walk,
Where you held hands, kiss and talk;
Where vows and promises were made,
now in the dust it slowly fades..

Your lonely and solitary room,
where memories resides of your callous groom,
now bears an unbearable wound,
For its atmosphere covered by gloom..

As you crawl up into your bed,
where pillows awaits to be fed;
of the tears that never dries,
from a woman's solemn cry.
