Poor Love

by Krystal   Aug 9, 2018

Crying, weeping on the floor,
Pleading, begging for some more,
Scared to death you'll walk away,
But way to proud to ask you to stay,
Curled up tightly on the floor,
Hoping you'll keep this girl who's poor.

Shaking, trembling scared inside,
When you leave its like I died,
Snapping, fearing for the worst,
I fell as though I'm gonna burst.

Hold me tight and keep me close,
Chase away my past ghost,
Tell me what you want from me,
Prove me wrong or set me free.

With a voice soft and low,
You'll never know,
I truly did love you so.
