Between the Lines

by William Mae   Aug 10, 2018

Your eyes beckon so I listen,
They speak in unmistaken tones,
With a voice strong yet tender,
Prettiest hue of brown that’s known.

We cloak the truth with masks and symbols,
We perfect the art of solving clues,
We know true love lives between us,
But we can’t say I love you.

Hidden in my lines are meanings,
Yet all its knowledge is known to you,
Our hearts bond and souls unite,
And only we shall know the truth.

In my daydreams all is open,
Every moment Crystal clear,
We make love in vivid settings,
Whispering sighs to fill our ears,

There’s no regrets in true loves kingdom,
When two are joined beneath loves throne,
We consummate our love so freely,
Plunge beneath to paths unknown.

It makes me happy when I come to know that you have
written a new poem. Each one is more meaningful then the
other and each one more...special. For whom you have written
this about and for surly feels wrapped and treasured by your
    love...keep penning, take care
