Murder

by nouriguess   Aug 10, 2018

You are waves of guilt,
looking unsullied and sky blue.
You move calmly like a lullabied
child, charming me to
dive into you.

I hold my breath,
jump,
and the moment my body
touches your water is
euphoric and intoxicating,

but
soon enough, your depths start
pulling me down.
You suddenly
overwhelm me, crushing my
lungs with avidity,
furiously pushing me back
and forth,
leaving my arms bruised and swollen.

I fight

hard against your wrath.
Ribs break,
heart loses its beats one by one,
eyes no longer see the light.
