tinnitus (acrostic)

by Mr. Darcy   Aug 14, 2018

These scraping nails

Inside my chalkboard mind will

Never fail to shrill. . .

Never fail to find. . .

Insanity choking on vanity's wax:

Those flashbacks claw open an

Understanding rusted door. . .

Sirens bring me a silence like never-before.

Michael, a hard hitting write. You have made something that is awful and happened to you beautifully poetic, as only you know how to do. Everything you write and how you comment on others write speak volumes of what an amazing . and empathetic man you are. I never would have guessed in a million years you had been abused like this as a child. I am so glad you didn't allow what your parents did to you ruin who you are today-hugs-

Thanks, Brenda. I can't complain about my childhood, as without it I wouldn't be the person I am today.
Your support to me is welcomed - I hold it to me now like a hug. Thank you. Xx

I'm going to say something that most readers are going to say umm that woman is weird, but you dear Michael will understand, and I adore you-

Your mind, and your precious head is, brilliant magical and wonderful--

You are a marvelous human being, and the tragic events that have plagued our words ring loud
to those who see and know your strength- this poem made me cry and it pisses me off that you suffered from abuse - but it melts me that you have the strength to share with us, hugs you <3

Thank you, Andrea for your kind words. Like most writers, our creativity stems from hardship. We help others because we know how hard life can be. ((Hugs)) to you. Xx

The final line was extremely deep,
    A very good end.
