XF105

Good morning 105

No reply as usual! unless you count the low grumble you emit each morning. It never lasts too long and I understand as I am not a morning person either.

I am flesh, blood and bone. You are a mixture of metallurgical alloys, wires and goodness knows what else.

Funny how we depend on each other.

In our own way we both have a heart I guess. Where mine pumps blood, nutrients and oxygen, yours pumps a variety of carcinogens.
If either heart misses a beat we are in trouble.

The relationship between man and and machine is a precarious one and we rely on each other so much. If I fail you fail, if you fail I fail.

When I am cold you warm me, when hungry you cook my sustenance.
You never get hungry but my! how thirsty you are.

When angry, you play me kasbaian, Muse and Maiden.
When hyped up, its crazy 90's dance.
When chilled you play me classical piano.
You only hear my terrible singing.

When you get clean, I get dirty! That is still something that still amuses and frustrates.

When I am weary and exhausted you send me to sleep. Yet I know you never truly sleep. That computer brain is always working. Even when powered down you are still constantly assessing things and running diagnostics.

Some would argue that you are only metal, Cogs and wires. Just a machine!

Just a tin box!

They are right! but you are my machine!

You look after me and I look after you.

Goodnight 105

I hate to admit this but Scania road train I used to travel in for weeks at a time was comfortable. Maybe my butt has more cushioning? Lol
DAF's, I am sure are great. Alas, my main job now is office based so I can only envy your time spent on the road.

    Take care out there.

I suppose at least you know when you will be home and when you will see the ones you love.

That's gotta be worth it dude.

Most truck drivers especially us trampers (guys and girls who work away all the time) have a favorite truck.

I've tried em all over the years. Most seem to favour scania. I hate them. My skinny arse goes numb after driving one of those for an extended period. Also when they go wrong they really go expensively wrong.
