Rhodes Part 1 (Exodus England)

by CJ Maleney   Aug 18, 2018

It's time to jump in the car
It's time to make our tracks
This only happens once a year
There is no time for looking back

Arriving at Edinburgh airport
I feel the holiday has now begun
But we lingered in the bar too long
And for that flight we had to run

We made to the boarding gate
We had only seconds to spare
I enjoyed that final dash and sprint
And I know we'll soon be there

Sitting on this aeroplane seat
My head begins to nod
Then the girls with the food trolly comes
And I am awoken with a prod

So belly filled with food and beer
I feel comfortable and quite grand
But I think I'll snooze a little more
Until upon that island we do land

It's awesome here dude, but wouldn't be a holiday if I didn't hurt myself. Managed to bust my toe open. Not bad though and won't slow me down.

As I write this its 10am and I'm the only one of our party of 5 awake. Lots of stuff to write about later lol

Sounds like you're going on an adventure.
    Sounds interesting and fun,
Wonder where the road will lead you.

To ruin. Actually to ruins, literally. Lindos and the acropolis on Tuesday.

      It's a beautiful place
