Falling Into Love

by Lost in Love   Jul 11, 2004

I gazed upon this deep dark hole
And told myself I’d stay away
But no matter how far I was it called to me
Wherever I decided to lay

They say love is one mans treasure
But another mans shame
But love isn’t what the issue is
It’s all the crying and childish games

Still I step closer and closer to the hole
It gave off an uncanny attraction
Coming off so mysterious
It gave me a weird reaction

To trot closer to the edge
Looking into the hole I thought it was going to erupt
Though I didn’t know what I was in for
Still this was a chance I couldn’t give up

I always lived a quiet enclosed life
And I was ready to risk it all
So then and there I took that one step
And followed it was the fall

I tried to hold on to the side of the edge
Wishing I didn’t take this fate
Then I just kept falling
Because I new it was to late

Finally I landed softly
But I felt a bruise or scar
It wasn’t visible though on the body
Only on my heart

However doubt filled my mind
With this time be like all the others
Then suddenly I felt a touch
That melted the doubt and helped me recover

Her hands pulled me up from the ground
And together we climbed up above
That’s when I realized their was nothing to worry
I may have fallen but It was just in love
