The Last of It

by Enrico Miguel Ulep Catolico   Aug 21, 2018

In the end it wouldn’t even matter.
The memories will surely shatter
And will began to fade as we grew older
But the sense of it all will stay forever.

The last of it I wish to stay
Even if the stars will blink away.

As we run down our final steps together
Show me the things that I should remember.
Make me smile as we take our last breath
For us not to regret our own death.

The last of it is cruel to see
How life will end without you with me.

    judging comment-

Well this elegant and flowing rhyme tugged at my heart strings-

Its purely emotional beauty, the beats were on point and I had a sorrowful rhythm while reading- the ending made me cry buckets of tears- most enjoyed!
