Kaaterskill Falling

by Maple Tree   Aug 22, 2018

Misty diamonds cascade
over shadows before me,
skies of blue comfort a lost soul.

I hear echos within trees
as spirits dance upon rustling water,
rocks shielded by mossy armor
allowing my footing to dance upon the earth.

I wish to die upon the falling purity of this place,
knowing within my heart that I am a pure being;
I've never known peace until now.

Emerald pathways etched with crimson clay
adorn my senses with golden meditation
allowing my mind to release the sorrow within-

I am home, finally home.
