My Castle And My Keep

by CJ Maleney   Sep 3, 2018

I'm going to build a castle,
It's like has not been seen!
You will not be a prisoner within its walls,
But you will be my queen.

Our crest will flutter at the highest tower,
It will be draped over the ramparts.
A thing I drew and had carved years ago,
Two wings flying with both our hearts.

Jealous people may see our banners fly,
They may try to storm our keep.
They will fall at our foundations,
And in their own misery shall weep.

We will not need knights for fighting,
For nothing can penetrant these walls.
We have not need for swords or shields,

"Because love can conquer all:

Life is full of tiny happy endings. Sometimes we do not see them, yet they are there.

      Thanks for your words fella.

I like this. A force stronger than a stone castle walls: Love.

    Nice one.

Stone will erode. Wind, rain and time will eventually turn it to dust.

The heart and mind can always be broken but they can never be eroded. Love will never ever die. Be it for your children, parents, family, true friends or that special special person.

      You would give your all.

Love will always be stronger than any wall.

      Regards dude

      Craig
