spellbound

by Michael   Sep 4, 2018

she danced

like a wild ballerina

she flew up-
into the breath of the forest

for a second or more;
but no less than four.

She tired me just watching;
but not, did i tire to watch

Quicker!
than fingers could-
tip-tap-tip-tap, on a table

with only two legs

clip-clop-chip, clip-clop-chip.

her hooves carving her name in the wood

“Gypsy”
