Inside me — beside you

by Ya----Na   Sep 13, 2018

It is difficult for a soul
to seek shelter in rain of despair
or to feel dead while alive;
I hope you understand now.

Wearing masquerades of joy among the lies
and
waking up with mutilated dreams
have become my chore.

Plead of the tears never been accepted
and
colors of the sunset is something far away
— a heart drowns in the wave of disbelief
only leaves regrets once water recedes.

September has come,
but letters in search of love didn't reach home.
And if happiness falls like the leaves in October,
season of hope will disappear
from the haiku too.

Oust the ugliness in our thoughts
with the beauty of trust,
and
freedom should be the first breath
one could take.
Let our feet trap in the dance of fantasy
for eternity.

Forgive me, my love, end this war
.
.
.
Inside me — beside you.

This is so touchingly as well tenderly written like picking out
a delicate cloth fallen among the thorns...I can't pick out a favorite
line and its simply well penned...take care
