Silent Rain

by Enrico Miguel Ulep Catolico   Sep 14, 2018

I wish to speak whenever I hear the rain,
It crowds out my voice and hides all the pain.
I remain falling apart but never as the same
But as lonely as the ever silent rain.

I wish to sneak out and feel the storm,
Just like the thunder strikes right at my door.

I wish to steal the calmness of the rain,
The wonder that it was able to maintain.
It whispered so quietly than it seems
That I found one special kind of peace.

I wish the silent rain was enough,
Enough to make myself give up.
