It starts as a low rumble off in the distance! |
by Meena Krish
I really like this and yes thunder is like those wild horses running |
This is an amazing piece. Before I read the title I thought it was referring to a large group of bikers riding through town. "Starts of as a low rumble off in the distance. The sound of heavens horses approaching" and as the poem progressed I thought what great metaphors and such a different approach. Imagining the fear in her eyes being due to the thought of leaping onto a machine and joining them. Especially "Take my hand for we join the horses now" (which in my mind meant join the bikers now) Then I read the title and reread the poem and thought how great is this. I could see how the imagery related to the thunder. For me two entirely different interpretations came so easily to mind from one piece of writing. So double the experience. Loved it. Milly x |

I love his! It is a great representation of the thunder! I love the storms, they have so much beauty and power behind them, just like horses! |
