Disconnection

by Gwenyth Hill   Sep 19, 2018

How disconnected are
we all from each other?
Who gives a damn about
whether we suffer?

When the pain becomes
too much to bare
And we need to be saved
but no ones there

How are we supposed
to live here
When we all have
to face our fear

And hope that someone
is there to catch us
Blind faith and our
ability to trust

It’s all we have
it’s all we can do
Continue to jump
and hope someone catches you

So true. It's easy to get wrapped up in your own life , so much as to not notice the pain another may be dealing with. Well done with this-

I think most people can relate to this feeling at some time or another in their lives. That feeling of being isolated in pain. Its nice to see the optimism too included in the piece that sometimes you just have to have blind faith that someone will catch you because I think that if you keep that faith that something good will always happen in the end. It inevitably does in ways that you don't always consider. Best wishes Milly x
