With a bottle of whiskey
Pressed to my lips
I write my feelings and emotions
As if they are scripts

How do you live
When there is nothing to motivate
No one to turn to
All you feel is hate

Hate for the lonliness
Hate for the sorrow
Hate that unfortunately
You will still be here tomorrow

The demons force themselves in
But you have no energy to fight
Their harsh words are real
The end is in sight

How can you push back
When you're broken
The demons have won
They have spoken

    Hey Emily,
I can't think of the song right now but this poem made me think of lyrics about ignoring demons or giving them a voice. Perhaps by writing about them, we can find a way to overcome.

I personally know what it's like to have no energy or motivation or will to move forward... it's something I would never wish on anyone. I hope there comes a point where you want to move forward and live for YOU. Because that's what should matter most. Let your voice be heard above the demons.

Here if you ever need to talk. Take care and thanks for sharing all you're going through here. I hope the burden becomes lighter soon.

    ~MA
