Don’t make me

by Catchy   Sep 23, 2018

Don’t make me, as I already am
Teasing distantly with set of knives
A pair of seducing eyes and charm
Stifled desire within me thrives

Just stop it, being so smooth and perfect
My foolish heart’s hanging by the cliff
Suspended flimsily right on the edge
About to fall when it looses grip

Didn’t you already shut me down?
Didn’t you already let me know?
Have you not clearly made it sure
That I wasn’t the one you’re looking for?

Why come back right at this moment?
Conveniently, when she had far gone
To wake my sleeping appetite
And believe that to your arms, I’d run

Don’t make me, as I already am
Stupid for once you had me hoping
But I think, this second time around
I’d still be the same person falling
