Peace

by Xandra_Writes   Oct 6, 2018

The sea sleeps peacefully
spreading its aura of calmness

As i gaze deeply down at the
water i scooped up in my hands,
Sun shone through the cottony
Clusters of cloud
Illuminating my face.

The cool sheet envelopes me
into an affectionate embrace
The rhythmic ripple of the water,
stares back at me
from my palm
Evoking waves of serenity
inside of me.

I flattened my palms as the
water escapes through my hands,
Falling back into the place
where it belongs
Leaving behind the
reminiscence.
