Like a Vine

by Catchy   Oct 9, 2018

I’m like a flower grown from a seed
Waiting to bloom and brightly shine
Hoping someday, a purpose I’ll lead
And wander carelessly like a vine

In the wild forest, I flourished and bid
A venture to send shivers up the spine
Seeks for chances to satisfy the need
Of a life I dream ‘til it’s mine

I am not perfect and in sin I bleed
The tainted work of my design
But amid the doubts and hints of my greed
I wouldn’t let me fall and resign

In the storm of hardships, I will feed
Strength as my heart’s on the line
I will be brave and be free like a kid
Exploring fearlessly like a vine
