Surreal

by Kristin   Jul 11, 2004

As i lay me down to sleep, i pray thee lord i do not weep, that i don't cry
for what's not mine, all it does is waste my time, I hope for the miles of
smiles he brings, and the laughter to never end, my heart with happiness to
ring, because he is my friend, the special feeling he makes me feel to stay
forever real, the pain he brought to be forgot, he did not mean to bring,
for he apologized by giving me his ring, a symbolization of forever love
that could only be sent from you above, so dear lord, before i sleep,
promise me i will not weep, for he hasn't caused this pain i feel, his love
for me is forever surreal
