I enjoyed climbing trees as a child. Back then I had no fear, but I did love the connection I felt with the trees. One particular tree, an oak I think was special to me. I'd climb to its very top and watch the world and contenplate my life. Like your tree mine is now gone.
Alas, my fear of death prevents me from my childhood hobby. Thanks for sharing this. If we all viewed trees as special we may just Save enough for our children's future.

      Thanks Mr D..
Yes trees are a love of mine, and many an hour spent climbing, sitting beneath and even talking too. I believe a tree has a spirit and a soul :)

Too many trees are destroyed for the greed of humanity. As a child we climbed trees, sat in them, ate our lunch and looked over the sea. I feel your grief. Milly x

The forest is one of my favorite places and I am fascinated by all these different beautiful trees. They all have a story to tell and provide shelter to birds, squirrels and some more. It saddens my heart to see them destroying them for concrete. We need the forest and I wished more would realize. Nominated and hugs to you.
