A Short Tale (Naked Encounter)

by Milly Hayward   Oct 22, 2018

As I strode out one Summer's night
I saw a man in sordid plight.
his hands were tied, his bottom bare
I couldn't help, but stop and stare.

Good Madam can you help me please?
Around my bum, there's quite a breeze.
I blushed and passed to him my hat
which he then used to hide his sprat.

We sat and spoke, about his plight
with rough robbers, he'd had a fight
they'd jumped out, from behind a bush
and left him naked, on his tush.

I freed his bonds and bade farewell
set off quick, to the nearest dell
He chased after me, running fast
at sight of him, I felt aghast

Breath was wheezing, my mouth was dry,
Thought this is it! I'm gonna die!
Madam he yelled, as I turned face
Panicked, I sprayed him with my mace

Then I noticed to my dismay
he'd dropped a, wild flower bouquet
Was gonna thank you for the hat
said he waving, his little sprat

Thanks Em, I can just imagine you reading it in the canteen lol. Really glad it made you laugh. Humour is so difficult to get right because everyone's sense of humour is very different. Milly x

I really enjoyed the humor crafted here from you milly. I think anyone would have the same reaction to the one the character expresses here, in shock and surprise. I am glad to see this is nominated as well.
