Bang, shot one: there goes my legs.
Trying to stand, my legs give out. With every blow of your hands, can’t walk nor run away. Immobilizing my spirit, what is freedom.
Over and over you pulled the trigger.
Bang, shot two: there goes my lungs.
Gasping for air, every breath seems shorter. Every move you make I flinch, breathing grows rapid. My lungs begin to constrict, breathless.
Over and over you pulled the trigger.
Bang, shot three: there goes my ears.
Deafening voice, beautiful melodies drowning. Your words are like daggers, ears bleeding out. I beg for silence. Silence please.
Over and over you pulled the trigger.
Bang, shot four: there goes my brain.
Bleeding out, I cling to the last drops of my confidence. Self esteem leaking out of my skull. In and out of consciousness, I look for peace.
Over and over you pulled the trigger.
Bang, shot five: there goes my heart.
Fading pulse my chest rises and falls. Breaking inch by inch, I say goodbye. Body turning blue. Killing my love, murdering my soul.
