My Bourbon Rose:

by Scott Cole   Oct 24, 2018

Oh how I do loveth thee
and thys rosy pink so deeply
that has endured for years
evermore so sweetly

For your arching values
bringeth those lushish views
that have blushed a many cheeks
and aged broken hearts to bloom

Your corolla effervescence
is strongly etched in you
and bubbleling to the surface
to harken eyes of blue

Them oceans dare restrain you
my Reine Victorian taboo
for exhilaring souls
now all drollith over you

My demaskus foreign lady
oh how you do appease
with your sutle parson form
your flawlessness prestine

Thys ravishing thick splendor
releases exotic perfumes
smothering the airways
with your intoxicating fumes

Oh my darling bourbon rose
how I do luve thee
since our first encounter
thys the fairest I have seen
