I used to dislike homework, and like you say keeping us awake when we should be resting for the school day ahead ;)

What is the reason for homework?

Is it that the teachers are not skilled or adequate enough to teach all they know by day. They have you from 9am to 3pm .

That's enough direction for a kid me thinks!

I work away a lot as you know only too well. Home time is exactly that and as such is precious.

I'm nominating this because of the questions it raises. Also it's bloody good.

In the time since you signed up for this site I have only nominated you once before. I felt a little guilty then as people would think it favoritism.

Not on this occasion. The voices and opinions of young ones need to be heard.

To add to this, I've to do an on line training course thing for work, fair enough it's only an hour but it's an hour of my time which I ain't getting paid for .

So yes homework sucks

Homework does suck.
I never used to bother. (I'm not giving you ideas BTW)
However I now have to help my kids with theirs. So I have never really escaped homework.
