A Night For Hallelujah

by Hope   Nov 2, 2018

Night;
a vendetta from the moon;
as personal as the beams;
face to face by sight,
what would I see?
but as blue as you;
a wish, a hope, a prayer.....
ignorance is bliss,
eyes go up in smoke,
but I'd find a reason to care,
I'll let go;
let go as the devil's lair,
leave it all behind,
forget every regret,
forget the madness and the sadness...,
better yet;
the Seven Sorrows don't tell a lie,
but only tears that fall from the eye;
spinning in the fall;
from the eyes of the skull.....

dance in the night,
broken by the moon's beams,
a gift for heaven's sight,
the devil could be pulled out of me;
hallelujah.

    This is very good, again nice imagery and story telling. You seem to have a thing for the moon and moonlight.
    Love the second last line.
    thanks for sharing
