    A sweet poem! :) I enjoyed the vivid imagery here, and whilst I wasn’t a fan of the ‘secret messages dangling upon tongues’ (I don’t think dangling gives the image of snowflakes?) I like the innocence you portray here, and I would’ve liked to have seen even more of this lovely vocabulary!

      when I was a kid I used to stick my tongue out to catch snowflakes.... a sweet memory of mine which I tied into this piece

    The title “When a Snow Flake Melts” to me is like showing inner-self, which is connected to the end of the poem “awakening the inner child”. It is like revealing what’s hidden within the snow flake.

    Andrea, your pieces are so beautiful. I too used to catch snowflakes on my tongue as a child. It brought me back to those days. You carry so much inside you, I know it weighs heavy on your heart. Like that falling snow, let it fall, ease your burden...Hugs you-
