Light

I thought seeing you last weekend would help with how much I miss you;
But all it did was make me miss you even more.
As I nuzzled my face into your neck my heart dropped at the raw emotion in your voice as I’d told you that-
If you ever left me for that long again I’d literally kill you and you replied with
“you left too.”
It was the first time i’d ever heard such vulnerability in your voice;
You’ve always had a way of telling me how you feel without needing to full out say it but this time was different.
It was more raw-
And we were both so stressed and worried about each other that all we could do
was smother each other in delicate kisses;
Appreciate every moment while it lasted and,
Pray to god that we get to see each other again much much sooner.
You are my lifeline.
And not only that but you are everything that reminds me that when it comes
down to it-
The sun can over power anything,
No matter how dark it is.
I wish I could find ways to show you this in person but you my love;
You are my sun.
And no matter how dark my days get-
you are always the light that guides my
way home when I’m feeling lost and helpless.
