I love this.
so simple at a glance and yet, so profound
"love me incomplete, the way I am"
Is this not what everyone desires in this time? to be honored and accepted and welcomed warmly in spite of and because of who we are? Though it is often the opposite that we are dealt in these times.
"otherwise you just love yourself"
a very cutting edge point here, we often assume that "loving" someone automatically gives us command of whom they should become to suite our desires. yet, were they not the same one's whom we chose as they were? Knowingly and willingly? but in the end we find ourselves saying "you don't serve me well" "don't listen, don't speak, don't laugh, don't remain silent" all these accusations which really are reflections of our lack of self love.
So much truth.
These words are honestly more true than anything I have read all day.
You spelled love with honesty - as love is true love when we love each other incomplete, the way we are, imperfectly imperfect.
If the person cannot see this and wants perfection, then they do not love nor know what love truly is.
Another wonderful write with such wisdom attached to it.
