Sunrise Watch (Acrostic)

Suddenly I wake up and outside it’s still all dark
Unable to fall asleep so a journey I embark
Night sky all around no moon to light the way
Repeating the same passage I've made many times a day
I arrive at the beach and I can't believe my eyes
Sun the star attraction as it just begins to rise
Engulfing the horizon I can just make out its crest
Watching magic happens while I'm seeing all the rest
Alone out in nature no sign of life around
The waves crashing gently which makes the only sound
Captivating and peaceful the only things I see
However I know this changes as life wakes up to me

    The best time of the day, in my opinion. As you say - 'captivating and peaceful'. But I agree, it soon changes and is ruined by all those selfish people who have to wake up!
