I liked this piece because it is relatable for many different people. From the person suffering from a panic attack to one having suffered abuse who is panicking trying to hide the marks, terrified it will happen again and not wanting people to know. To someone suffering from what is known as an "invisible illness". Strange pains and spasms, buzzing, pins and needles are symptoms that can be frightening and can cause panic, again often sufferers pretend that they are ok because they don't want people to know they are ill. I totally agree with Milly. The fight to not do your go to when that feeling hits and the inner turmoil you are experiencing. It's ok to cry and it's ok to ask for help, never forget that. |
